Our Origins

Founded in 1978 by President Gary Haywood, Tobe Manufacturing Inc was inspired by Gary's paternal grandfather, Frank "Tobe" Haywood. Mr. Haywood was an exceptionally talented craftsman working in wood and steel who passed down to Gary his knowledge and love for creating, innovating, and service. 

Tobe Manufacturing started by making wood/solar water stoves out of a small shop and we later expanded to our current 30,000+ square foot facility giving us the ability to tackle jobs of all sizes. Now 42 years later, Tobe Manufacturing continues as a second generation, family-operated leader in the manufacture of high quality metal fabrications and high speed CNC machining.
